Willa Richards is a Spartan graduate whose debut novel The Comfort of Monsters was released in July to critical acclaim.
This Fall, the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics team, the GEarheads (Team #16460), partnered with the Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF), the Elmbrook Schools Technology Team, Brookfield Central and Brookfield East High Schools, and Brookfield and Elm Grove Public Libraries to collect 79 used computers and devices to donate to robotics teams and/or STEM organizations and schools in resource-challenged areas of Milwaukee.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction released school report cards this week, naming Brookfield East as a school that "Significantly Exceeds Expectations'' with a composite score of 90.6. East received the third highest score in the state for non-charter high schools.
On Saturday, November 13, the Brookfield East Girls Swimming and Diving Team won their third straight Division 1 state championship. The girls won a total of nine events and swept all three relays, breaking five state records in the process!
On Friday, September 17, Brookfield Central and Brookfield East joined forces for the eighth annual Gold Out game in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Brookfield East is proud to announce that 10 members of the senior class have been named National Merit Commended students.
On Saturday, June 26, the Brookfield East Boys Tennis Team finished off a perfect 21-0 season by sweeping Marquette (7-0) and bringing home the Division 1 gold from the WIAA State Championship in Eau Claire! The weekend before, East Juniors Henry Irwin and Reed Scullen took the gold as the Division 1 Doubles State Champions!
