Sasuke Leaves the Village Again Episode
The Naruto series, of course, focuses mainly on a boy named Naruto Uzumaki and his path to becoming Hokage. However, the anime has a deuteragonist who is also very integral to the main story. His name is Sasuke Uchiha. He is a member of the Leaf Village and also one of the few surviving members of the extremely powerful Uchiha clan.
Even though Naruto and Sasuke formed a strong relationship with each other, the young Uchiha still found his way on a path of darkness. While on this path, Sasuke committed a lot of crimes and done a lot of horrible things that labeled him a criminal for a long time within the story.
10 Back Talked Kakashi
After breaking up a fight between Naruto and Sasuke, Kakashi decided that he needed to have a serious talk with Sasuke. Realizing that the two young ninjas were getting out of control especially Sasuke, Kakashi hoped to be able to calm Sasuke down since he felt the two of them were somewhat similar. Kakashi pinned Sasuke to a tree so that the brooding boy couldn't get away. Kakashi then told him the severe truth that Sasuke had to learn to abandon this need for revenge.
Consumed by anger, Sasuke back talked his teacher telling him that he can only know how he feels if all of his family and friends died. It is a horrible thing to say to your mentor, but Kakashi countered calmly by saying everyone he once cared about already died.
9 Abandoned The Leaf Village
Back in part one of the series when Naruto was growing in strength leaving Sasuke in the dust, the brooding Uchiha was approached by Orochimaru's minions to leave the village in order to gain greater power. Consumed with a need to be stronger than Naruto and to kill his brother, Sasuke accepted the offer and left the village.
Even after Orochimaru attacked the Leaf Village and after form a bond with team 7, Sasuke still felt it was necessary to leave the Leaf Village. This really shows that during that time Sasuke cared more about his revenge and power than the friendships he created.
8 Rejected Sakura
If there are two things that most Naruto fans know about Sakura is that she is annoying and madly love with Sasuke. However, even though the pink-haired ninja could be extremely annoying at times, the way Sasuke treated her was a little more than brutal.
Sasuke would constantly ignore or shoot irritated glares at her, but Sakura never stopped fighting for his attention. Eventually, she confessed her love to him trying to convince him to be with her and remain in the village. Not saying that Sasuke had to accept her love, but he could have put her down a little more gently.
7 Fought Itachi
After becoming significantly stronger, Sasuke was ready to face Itachi in combat once again. At first, this is anything more than an inevitable fight, but after Itachi dies of his illness, Sasuke finally learns the truth about Itachi.
Not only did Sasuke fight and weaken his brother who just wanted to protect Sasuke, but he ignored the last message that Itachi tried to bestow to him. Itachi wanted Sasuke to live to be a hero of the Leaf Village, but instead, Sasuke came to the decision that he should destroy it.
6 Joined The Akatsuki
Sasuke planned to attack the Leaf Village. Tobi, the man that told Sasuke the truth about his brother, offered to provide Akatsuki support to aid Sasuke. However, first Sasuke and his team had to help capture one of the Tailed Beasts before the deal was agreed upon.
Sasuke agreed to these terms and he and his team became temporary Akatsuki members. During this time, Sasuke fought against the Eight-Tails jinchuriki, Killer Bee. He fought with the intent to completely damage and capture the sword-fighting, rap-loving jinchuriki for the Akatsuki.
5 Infiltrated The Kage Summit
In an attempt to train his visual ability, Mangekyo Sharingan, and rattle the five Kages, Sasuke and his small team were tasked to raid the Kage Summit. The five Kages convened at the meeting place to discuss what they would do about the Akatsuki.
During Sasuke's raid, he charged his way through the Land of Iron's guards to get to the leaders of the ninja villages. Sasuke not only ignored Gaara's plea to abandon his current path of darkness, but he also attacked Raikage, A, causing the Raikage to lose an arm.
4 Sacrificed Karin
During his battle with Danzo, the man that assigned Itachi with the task to kill his clan, Sasuke had to fight the Hokage candidate with all his strength. Eventually, Sasuke was able to back Danzo into a corner. With very little options left, Danzo took Karin as a hostage threatening her life.
At first, it seems that Sasuke has a plan to stop Danzo and ensure Karin's safety. However, much to Danzo's surprise, Sasuke simply attacked straight through Karin to get to Danzo. Sasuke mortally wounded both Danzo and Karin with a smile on his face.
3 Tried To Kill Sakura
After the time-skip, team 7 was reunited once again. During this reunion, Naruto, Kakashi and Sakura admitted to bringing Sasuke back to the village. Sakura tried to convince Sasuke that she would join him.
Sasuke is very suspicious of what Sakura's intentions really are so he decided to put her to the test. To prove her loyalty, Sasuke instructed her to kill Karin. However, before she could make a choice, Sasuke already had the intent to kill her as he stood behind her. Sakura only escaped this horrible fate by being saved by his former sensei, Kakashi.
2 Controlled The Tailed Beasts
After defeating Kaguya, Sasuke decided once again to go forward with his own goals. Sasuke planned to destroy the systems of the past to make for a better future. In order to this, Sasuke took everyone by surprise and used the power of the Rinnegan and Mangekyo Sharingan to control the Tailed Beasts.
The Tailed Beasts spent most of their lives being imprisoned in jinchuriki. Then, the Tailed Beasts were forced into the Gedo Statue. During the Fourth Ninja War, Naruto made peace with the other Tailed Beasts. So it was, unfortunately, to see Sasuke unwillingly subjugate the Tailed Beasts once again.
1 Tried To Kill Naruto
Naruto and Sasuke have been through a lot. They dealt with a ninja war, Madara, Obito and even the mother of chakra, Kaguya. Even after all the situations that the two overcame together, the battle between Naruto and Sasuke was still inevitable. At the end of the journey, Sasuke came to the conclusion that he wants to be Hokage.
However, unlike any other Kage, he believed that he needed to kill the Kages and Tailed Beasts in order to erase the darkness of the past. Of course, this is a decision that didn't sit well with Naruto. As a result, the two had their final battle. While Naruto still fought to save his friend, Sasuke fought Naruto with the intention of killing the hyperactive ninja.
